Sharing Session #2

Jakarta, October 18, 2025 – The Master’s Program in Electrical Engineering at Universitas Trisakti held its second Sharing Session with the theme “Design and Implementation of a Hybrid Electric Bicycle Based on a 250-Watt Brushless DC (BLDC) Motor with a Monitoring System.” This event is part of a series of scientific discussions aimed at broadening the knowledge and insights of students, particularly in the field of Electric Power Engineering.

The event began at 10:00 AM WIB and was conducted online via Zoom Meeting. It was hosted by Mr. M. Idham Khalif, S.Kom., who served as the Master of Ceremony and also the Secretary of the Master’s Program in Electrical Engineering. The session was officially opened by the Head of the Master’s Program, Mr. Syah Alam, S.Pd., M.T., Ph.D., who delivered a warm welcome and motivational remarks to encourage participants, especially those currently working on their final projects.

The speaker for this session was Mr. Singgi Fadly, S.T., M.T., a Permanent Lecturer in Electrical Engineering at Universitas Trisakti and an alumnus of the Master’s Program. In his presentation, he provided a detailed explanation of the design and implementation process of the hybrid electric bicycle, which utilizes a 250-watt BLDC motor, along with the monitoring system that supports the efficiency and performance of the bicycle.

The session was met with great enthusiasm, as evidenced by the numerous questions and interactive discussions throughout the event. The program ran smoothly and proved to be highly beneficial, especially for students who are currently undertaking or about to begin their final projects. The material presented offered new insights and a practical illustration of the application of electrical power technology in everyday life.

It is hoped that activities like this will continue to be held regularly as a means of enriching knowledge and inspiring students of the Master’s Program in Electrical Engineering at Universitas Trisakti.
