The development of human resources is essential to produce experts who serve as the driving force for sustainable development, while adhering to efforts for the effective and efficient use and management of natural resources and consistently preserving environmental sustainability.

In this context, the role of higher education institutions in development must continuously be enhanced. The levels of higher education offered to the public should refer to the variety and complexity of development itself, as well as the diverse demands from society for types of higher education that align with opportunities, challenges, and changes at local, regional, and international levels amid globalization.

Trisakti University strives to anticipate the above challenges by developing the Master of Electrical Engineering Program, which was established on August 16, 1993, and continues to operate to this day. To improve the quality of services, on August 1, 2002, the management of the Master of Electrical Engineering Study Program was transferred to the management of the Faculty of Industrial Technology at Trisakti University, based on the Rector’s Decree of Trisakti University number 244/USAKTI/SKR/VI/2002 concerning the Transfer of Management of Master’s Study Programs at the Graduate School to the respective faculties within Trisakti University. Since 2005, the Faculty of Industrial Technology has fully managed the Master of Electrical Engineering Program.

Based on the evaluation and assessment by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT), the Master of Electrical Engineering Study Program at Trisakti University was awarded an accreditation rating of B according to certificate number 1872/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/M/VI/2017 dated June 6, 2017, regarding the Accreditation Status and Ranking for Master’s Programs at Higher Education Institutions.
